Dentures

Restore your bite with a comfortable custom-fitted dental appliance

A denture replaces multiple missing teeth with a single removable appliance, restoring full jaw function and allowing you to chew normally once more.

Dentures have had a bad rap for far too long – the butt of jokes and cartoons. But while many patients still consider dentures a compromise option, the technology has advanced considerably. These days, specialised technology allows us to craft dentures to a very high standard, making them just as effective and comfortable as conventional crowns and bridges.

5 steps to high-quality dentures

The initial consultation

We’ll examine your teeth and discuss your options.

Taking impressions

We capture primary and secondary impressions of your teeth, as well as a bite registration to capture how your teeth fit together. Your denture needs to fit your mouth with pinpoint accuracy to stay fixed in place and avoid discomfort.

Fabricating the denture

We work with a boutique dental laboratory using the latest dental equipment to fabricate your denture with extreme precision.

Checking the denture

Once we’ve received the denture, you’ll need to attend another appointment to try it out. If necessary, we can then make any slight adjustments to ensure they fit perfectly and sit comfortably.

Reviewing your progress

A few weeks after delivery, you’ll be invited back in for a review to ensure everything is well with your new denture. From consultation to delivery, the entire process can take X months.

Frequently Asked Questions.

A dental implant or bridge is usually recommended to replace a single tooth.
The life of a denture is usually about seven years, after which it may need replacing.
A denture requires more maintenance than dental implants, crowns or bridges. Every three or four years your dentures may need to be relined and the metal clasps reattached.
The price might feel more important now, but the quality of your denture will stay with you for years. Unlike your dentist, we’re specialised in remedial dentistry. Plus we use a boutique, high-tech dental laboratory to produce all our patients’ dentures because we know the results will fit better and last longer.
